Landcare Solutions is a well-established, family run, landscape construction company. We predominantly specialises in the installation and construction of playgrounds for local authorities throughout the central belt of Scotland.

We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our playground installation and landscape construction teams. The role involves installation of landscape construction projects including construction and installation of play equipment, groundworks, and landscaping works. The ideal candidate for this role should be able to prepare sites, including setting out, and carry out the installation of projects to the client's design. This role involves the following duties:

Installation, repairs, and maintenance of play equipment and outdoor gym equipment.

Installation of safety surfaces.

Hard landscaping works- groundworks, kerbing, slab and mono block laying, earth moving, grading, preparing formations and finished surfaces.

Fencing- erection of timber and metal fencing and gates.

Soft landscaping works- seeding, turfing, planting.

This role is physically demanding and due to the nature of the business, we expect candidates to be passionate about working outdoors, in all weather conditions.

The successful candidate should have the following skills:

Essential:

Ability to read and follow designs, technical drawings and installation instructions.

Setting out skills.

Passionate about working within landscape construction.

Customer focussed, to ensure contract deliverables are achieved.

Willing to learn new skills.

In addition to the above, candidates would ideally have:

SVQ in Landscape related subjects.

CSCS with Construction industry accreditation.

CITB plant operator certificates.

Full UK Driving licence.

1 year's landscaping/groundwork experience.
