Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Skilled Operator - Cook within our food production facility. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety protocols, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

To prepare and cook ingredients for our food products Implement and adhere to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines to ensure food safety throughout the production process. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow and adherence to quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production areas to identify any potential issues or hazards. Assist in training new staff on food safety practices and operational procedures. Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced and any deviations from standard procedures.

Experience

Previous experience in food production or a similar role is highly desirable. Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is essential. Strong basic math skills for accurate record keeping and inventory management. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual tasks. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of work.
