We are now looking for a Skilled Operator to join the production team at our Ellesmere Port site working on a 24/7 shift pattern.
In this role you will be responsible for:

  • operating and maintaining the production equipment, following operating procedures and operating a chemical process to ISO9001, 14001 and 18001 standards.
  • providing planned and unplanned maintenance support
  • carrying out in-process adjustments and repairing pneumatic and mechanical equipment
  • assisting in production operations as required so a flexible approach to team working will be key to your success.
What you'll bring to the team:
  • A mechanical or electrical qualification, apprentice trained ideally with production or operating experience in an industrial (preferably chemical) environment.
  • A good level of computer literacy
  • Previous experience of maintenance management systems, SAP would be an advantage.
  • Counterbalance forklift license, MEWPS and PASMA certification
  • Siemens hardware/programme experience and/or PLC/SCADA experience would be an advantage.
  • Ability to read and understand P&ID
