Job Overview

Our Team is expanding, we're looking for skilled and experienced plasterers/skimmers to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering, and related masonry work, with the ability to execute high-quality finishes on various projects. This role involves working on commercial and residential construction sites.

Current project where you'll be working is live and consists of 42 high end apartments where you'll have to apply plastering on to plasterboard partitions and ceilings

Experience and recommendations are a must, please don't call if you don't have at least a couple of years of experience in traditional plastering.

The project will be on pricework, 7/sqm, we'll be supplying the materials and loading the areas for you

Duties

Apply plaster, stucco, and skim coats to interior and exterior surfaces with precision and attention to detail Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or applying bonding agents as needed Install rebar and metal lath for reinforced plaster applications Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project requirements Perform concrete finishing, form setting, and rebar installation when required Collaborate with team members to ensure quality standards are met during all phases of construction or renovation projects Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times

Experience

Proven experience in plastering, stucco application, or related masonry work on commercial or residential site Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and schematics interpretation. Prior construction site experience with a focus on masonry or plastering preferred Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high-quality standards Possess a Skilled worker Blue CSCS card.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 180.00-220.00 per day
