The Role - Soldering at the Heart of What We Do:

We are looking for a highly skilled Production Operative with proven

soldering experience

to join our growing team. This is not a general assembly role -- soldering is a critical part of our production process, and we are seeking someone who can bring accuracy, consistency, and pride to every joint and connection.

Key Responsibilities:

Soldering

electronic components and cable assemblies to a consistently high standard (this is an essential part of the role) Reading and following technical drawings and work instructions Crimping and assembling cables and wire harnesses to specification Inspecting and testing finished products to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area Recording production details and reporting issues to the supervisor

Requirements (Essential):

Proven soldering experience

(minimum 1 year, preferably in electronics or cable assembly) Experience using hand tools such as cable cutters, pliers, screwdrivers, and crimping tools (manual and machine) Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions Good eyesight and excellent attention to detail Reliable timekeeping and the ability to work sitting or standing for periods A willingness to learn and continuously improve
