Skilled Production Operator - High Care Department

Location:

Clandeboye, Bangor.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday - 10-hour shifts (occasional Friday overtime)

We are now seeking a

Skilled Production Operator

to play a key role within our High Care Department, where the yoghurt mixes and bases are carefully prepared to the highest standards.

In this role, you'll help ensure our yoghurt is produced to the very best quality standards, setting up equipment, following recipes accurately, and maintaining excellent hygiene and attention to detail throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

Work as part of a small, skilled team in our High Care production area Set up and operate machinery, ensuring equipment is ready and maintained to standard Understand and prepare yoghurt mixes, following clear recipes and production instructions Monitor and maintain product quality throughout each batch Follow Work Instructions and production plans to meet agreed performance and waste targets Keep your work area clean and organised, following a "clean as you go" approach Identify and report any issues relating to quality, safety, or equipment performance Support team members and communicate effectively to achieve shared goals

The Person

Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is preferred Confidence working with machinery and following clear processes Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Good communication and numeracy skills Experience working in a High Care or chilled food environment Food safety or machinery operation training
