This is a full-time, fixed-term teaching position for two years. The role is term-time only (41 weeks per year), with a working pattern of 35 hours per week.
Salary: 36,974.00-42,005.00 per annum, plus London weighting, pro rata for 41 weeks.

The Role:
We are seeking a creative ESOL Tutor dedicated to improving the lives of our learners. You will work closely with the Assistant Programme Manager to design and teach high-quality ESOL courses that ensure our learners experience engaging, enjoyable and purposeful classes that enable them to shape their lives and be active members of their communities.
You will work across levels, on accredited and non-accredited classes, and be committed to creating a community of practice that experiments with different teaching, learning and assessment approaches.

About You:
Must have a recognised teaching qualification. It is desirable to have a subject specialism in ESOL but not essential.
Proven experience in teaching engaging and purposeful ESOL courses to adults.
Strong administrative and IT skills and familiarity with course delivery documentation.
Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate simply, clearly and with empathy with speakers of other languages.
This post requires an enhanced DBS and the ability to work flexibly and across learning sites and community venues as required.
