About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Shift Supervisor to join our Slicing team. You'll be part of the management team, ensuring daily production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead, support, and inspire your team, while driving continuous improvement across the department.

What You'll Do

Lead, motivate and develop a team of supervisors, line leaders, and operatives. Ensure

health & safety, food safety, and quality standards

are always met. Deliver production plans and KPI targets, minimising downtime and maximising efficiency. Manage staff performance, absence, and training needs in partnership with HR. Drive continuous improvement, supporting the site's culture of safety, quality, and teamwork. Act as a role model, setting high standards and promoting a positive working environment.

What We're Looking For

Previous senior experience in food manufacturing (preferably within slicing/processing). Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Knowledge of health & safety, food safety, and quality compliance. Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and deliver results. A positive, hands-on leader who can develop and support their team.
