About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious
Slinger/Signaller
to join our team on upcoming projects. You will be responsible for ensuring safe lifting operations on site, working closely with crane operators and site management to deliver work efficiently and in line with health & safety regulations.Responsibilities:
Direct and guide crane operators during lifting operations. Secure, sling, and unsling loads safely and correctly. Carry out all tasks in compliance with site safety procedures and regulations. Communicate effectively with site teams and operators to ensure smooth operations. Inspect lifting gear and report any defects or issues immediately. Maintain safe working practices and contribute to toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Requirements:
Valid CPCS/NPORS Slinger/Signaller ticket - essential. Proven experience as a slinger/signaller on construction sites. Strong awareness of health & safety standards. Good communication skills and ability to work within a team. CSCS card - preferred. Additional lifting-related qualifications - desirable.
