Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Slinger to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials on-site. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a productive work environment.

Duties

Operate and manage the slinging of materials to various locations on the construction site. Ensure that all materials are handled safely and efficiently, minimising the risk of accidents or damage. Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members regarding material needs and safety protocols. Conduct regular checks on equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and report any issues immediately. Assist in maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Drive vehicles as required for transporting materials or equipment around the site.

Requirements

Previous experience in construction is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of site operations. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with team members. A valid driving licence is essential for operating vehicles on-site. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on-site.
