We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious

Slinger/Labourer

to join our dynamic manufacturing team at our site in Dunfermline.

This hands-on role is vital to supporting daily operations, ensuring materials are moved efficiently and safely across site, and assisting with general labouring duties. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced industrial setting, a strong awareness of health and safety protocols, and a proactive approach to teamwork and productivity.

Key accountabilities



Responsible for all lifting equipment on site ensuring any defects are dealt with and register is maintained. Responsibility for loading and unloading of vehicles in a safe manner and in accordance with lift plans. Take the lead in ensuring lift plans are in place for all complex lifts. Working with the engineering team, providing the necessary information for creation of lift plans. Providing guidance to workshop employees whilst doing heavy and complex lifts. General labouring and housekeeping activities. Waste management including the emptying of swarf skips, etc.

Qualifications and experience



Valid recognised qualification in advanced lifting & Slinging Valid counterbalance Forklift license (5 Ton) Working at height training would be an advantage Minimum 5 years work experience in a heavy engineering environment undertaking complex lifts Valid EU Passport or other current permission to work in the UK
