Job Description

Overview:
We are currently seeking a Trainee slinger to join our team in managing the movement of materials on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a valid driving license, proficiency in English, and a knack for building strong working relationships.

Duties:
- Safely direct the movement of materials using signalling equipment such as flags and hand signals
- Coordinate with crane operators to ensure safe and efficient material handling
- Inspect loads to ensure they are secure and comply with safety regulations
- Assist in the rigging and lifting of heavy objects
- Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure smooth operations

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Slinger or in a similar role is advantageous
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and crane operators
- Valid driving licence to transport equipment on-site
- Proficiency in English for clear communication
- Strong ability to build and maintain positive working relationships

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week

CPCS (preferred)
Work Location: In person
