Slitting Line Operator
Job Description
Steel processing company based in Halesowen require a Slitting Line Setter / Operator
All applicants must have experience of steel slitting. Your main duties will include:
The setting and operating of various slitting lines
Operating Overhead Cranes
Use of micrometres and Vernier's
Using pneumatic hand tools - Banding coils/Packaging coils
Using our computer system to book jobs/stock search etc
This position is permanent Nights - Hours of working 18.00 -06:00 Monday - Thursday nights (4 Nights).
Overtime may be required
Applicants Must be able to work safely and in line with the company's health and safety procedures
Rate of pay to be determined by experience
Shift allowance is also given weekly
Position will require basic first aid training. Training will be given
