We are a Gear Manufacturing Company looking for a part time slotter to work on our Butler slotting machine. The Slotter will be responsible for setting up and operating this machine to ensure precise and efficient production processes. Must be able to work to drawings/samples, small batch quantities. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible hours.
Duties
Set up and operate slotting machines according to specifications and work orders
Ensure proper alignment and calibration of equipment before operation
Monitor machine performance during production runs, making adjustments as necessary
Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area
Document production activities and report any machine malfunctions or issues to supervisors
Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment when needed
Experience
Prior experience with machine operation, particularly in manufacturing or production environments, is required
Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with industrial equipment are advantageous
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or work instructions is essential
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently are essential skills for success in this role

Pay: 14.50-16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 22.5 per week
