The SLP CAMHS Bed Management aims to ensure that a referred young person is managed through the most appropriate care pathway, inpatient care or Crisis services. Also aims to reduce the time a young person waits unnecessarily in an A+E department.
Be part of an experienced team who work to ensure that the best possible outcomes are achieved for the young people referred through the service. Be part of the senior team helping to ensure the bed management service continues to run efficiently and be part of the exciting changes that are happening within the service and positive impact that will have on wider services and young people in crisis.
The SLP CAMHS Bed Manager will work as part of an experienced team of senior and junior bed mangers, managing referrals for young people who are in a period of crisis and require extra support to help them during this difficult time.
The bed manager will work with the referring community teams, crisis teams, ICBs, NHSE and inpatient services to ensure the best possible outcome for the young person is achieved.
Data collection will be monitored and maintained as this is a key part of the role for providing accurate reports for the Trusts and various other services working with bed management.
The SLP senior bed manager will help the team lead with the management of the team to ensure the service delivery is in keeping with the Trust values and targets.
