We have an opportunity for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our fantastic team at Hale Veterinary Group.

About us:

We are a progressive, RCVS accredited practice set within leafy North Wiltshire that takes pride in providing the best clinical care. We have branches in Calne, Corsham and Melksham as well as our main hospital in Chippenham.


Our Tier 3 status Veterinary Hospital has gained the ISFM Cat Friendly Practice gold award. It is equipped to an extremely high standard with plans to expand and to include a CT scanner.


Our friendly day team comprises of 14 FTE vets, 12 FTE RVNs, 3 SVNs, and 5 FTE ACA's. Plus, we have the valuable support of our dedicated Reception and Admin Team.

The Role:

Salary up to 70,000 depending on experience Full-time (38 hrs/week) over 4 days Time split evenly between hospital and branch shifts - but rota can be adaptive to meet requirements of the individual Participation in fair weekend day rota, allowing a good work/life balance No nights

The Area:

The practice is close to the M4, as well as being 5 minutes away from the train station, making it easily accessible for clients and team members.


The local area has a lot to offer - it is close to the beautiful Cotswolds, as well as big cities such as Cardiff, Bristol & Bath. We are also only an hour from London by train. From city life to countryside, we have it all!
