About Us:

We're a friendly Small Animal practice in Norton, an increasingly cosmopolitan village between Leeds and Newcastle on the edge of North Yorkshire. We're a very friendly and supportive team in a beautifully extended and refurbished premises, but at a well-established site.



Our team consists of 4 receptionists, 4 qualified RVNs (and 1 student nurse; as a VNTP) and 3 vets currently (one being part time) and with more than 60 years combined experience in general practice.



After our refurbishment in 2018, our practice has grown in size to allow for separate dog and cat wards, a much larger theatre and an increased number of consultation rooms. We are also proud to offer some fantastic equipment, including new dental kit and a modern diagnostic suite with an ultrasound scanner and digital x-ray facilities.

The Role:

We're flexible with hours, so whether you're looking for a full-time position (36 hours per week) or part-time hours to fit around your lifestyle we've got the role for you. 1:4 Sat mornings, no other OOHs as we use a dedicated OOH provider very close to the clinic. We are keen for an applicant who has gained experience and confidence in routine ops and consultations. Salary up to 53,500 dependent on experience (pro rata).
