Overview

Direct Cooling is a trusted name in mechanical building services, delivering high quality heating, plumbing, ductwork, and air conditioning solutions across the UK. We're looking for an experienced and motivated Small Works Project Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a variety of small works projects -- typically ranging from 10,000 to 75,000 -- and play a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability.

Duties

Manage the full lifecycle of small works projects across HVAC, plumbing, and ductwork disciplines. Conduct nationwide site surveys for potential work and prepare supporting documentation. Plan, resource, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery. o Monitor progress, quality, and HCS compliance on all projects. Support business development by identifying opportunities for additional works. Manage the full lifecycle of small works projects across HVAC, plumbing, and ductwork disciplines.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience managing M&E small works projects (HVAC, plumbing, ductwork) Good understanding of mechanical building services and installation standards. Strong organizational, communication, and client management skills. Commercial awareness and experience with estimating and budgeting. Competent in preparing reports and project documentation. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel nationwide.

Desirable:

HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
