Job Overview

We are a well-established family building company, undertaking extensions, alterations and new builds in Dorset , New Forest and South Wiltshire. The works range from 150k to 950k and we pride ourselves on our outstanding service and reputation. We are seeking an experienced quantity surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the control of costs and purchasing of materials for sites, working along side our experienced contracts managers and long standing site teams. This position requires a strong understanding of cost control measures and reporting, along with a can do attitude and the willingness to be part of the team to provide outstanding customer service. The position is a senior position with in the company and for the right person could lead to directorship and company shares.

Responsibilities

Cost controls and reporting. Variation controls and pricing. Material Procurement. Site meetings and customer service. Member of the Senior management team.

Skills

Experience of working in a similar role. Strong understanding of cost control and management. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and concepts to team members and customers. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
