Smart Water Meter Installers

to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a key part in upgrading the UK's water network by installing smart meters that help customers use water more efficiently and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities

Safely remove existing water meters and install new smart meters. Connect new meters to communication devices and ensure accurate functionality. Test and commission meters to confirm safe and efficient operation. Visit residential and commercial sites, explaining system use and water efficiency tips to customers. Accurately record installation details, materials used, and completion notes via tablet or laptop. Adhere to strict health and safety standards and respond to maintenance or emergency call-outs when required.

Skills & Attributes

Competent in using hand and power tools for installation and maintenance. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Professional communication skills when engaging with customers. Physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks such as lifting pit lids and light excavation. Flexible to travel and work in various outdoor conditions.
