Job Overview:

We are seeking a

Street Food Assistant Manager

to work on the griddle, lead a team, and ensure the smooth operation of our fast-paced kitchen. This full-time role requires

40 hours per week

over

5 out of 7 days

Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Cooking:

Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality street food to customers.

Customer Service:

Deliver excellent levels of service, addressing compliments by praising staff and resolving any complaints in collaboration with your line manager as needed.

Stock Management:

Monitor stock levels of foods and disposable packaging, and liaise with senior management to ensure sufficient supply.

Cleanliness & Hygiene:

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen, service areas, and back-of-house storage. Ensure all surfaces and equipment are cleaned thoroughly at the end of each shift.

Team Leadership:

Supervise a small team, motivating them to perform at their best and ensuring all processes and procedures are adhered to.

Unit Management:

Run the unit independently during the week, ensuring smooth operations in the absence of the senior management team.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Senior Management team to meet operational goals and maintain high standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

Culinary Expertise:

Proficient in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques.

Leadership Skills:

Strong ability to supervise, motivate, and manage a team effectively.

Food Safety Knowledge:

Familiarity with food safety regulations and industry best practices.

Passion for Food:

Creative, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Experience:

Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred.
