We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our smokehouse BBQ establishment and ensure the highest standards of service and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry with any experience overseeing food preparation and culinary management a bonus. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to guide a diverse team while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and food safety.
Someone who has kitchen experience or is willing to learn the basic smoking process over time is highly desirable to allow understanding across the entire restaurant.

Duties
Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
Manage food production processes, including preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.
Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance and morale.
Implement training programs for new hires, focusing on hospitality and service excellence.
Maintain inventory levels and wastage
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
Oversee social media and marketing and business development
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth among employees.
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality sector.
Demonstrated ability in supervising teams effectively while promoting a collaborative atmosphere.
Excellent leadership qualities with a focus on team management and employee development.
In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production.
Experience in serving customers with a strong emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management is advantageous but not essential.
