The Role:


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Nursing Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to our residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, monitoring vital signs along with assisting in administering medications under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities



Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support residents in daily activities, promoting independence while ensuring safety. Implement and monitor individual care plans. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Assisting in the administering of medications and monitoring vital signs. Maintain accurate records of resident care and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices within the care home. Ensure that the care home environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for all residents.

You will have:



3 years of previous experience in senior care or a similar role. A strong understanding of IT systems related to care management is beneficial. Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and groups. Knowledge of basic medial terminology and procedures. Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from healthcare professionals. Qualified in or working towards an NVQ/QCF Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care Passion about providing high quality relationship centred care.
