I\xe2\x80\x99m actively seeking 2 talented Epidemiological Programmers to join my client who is a leading pharmaceutical company on a contract basis.

In this role you will play a pivotal role in my client\xe2\x80\x99s research initiatives, where you will craft analysis datasets, perform statistical analyses, and generate insightful reports for our observational research studies. Data stored on platforms like Databricks and SAS forms the foundation of our work.

Responsibilities:

• Crafting sophisticated analysis datasets from complex databases.
• Executing statistical analyses in line with pre-defined plans.
• Generating comprehensive reports that offer actionable insights.
• Collaborating with epidemiologists and researchers to translate analysis plans into concrete implementations.
• Identifying and rectifying errors or outliers with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in statistical or observational research programming.
• An MSc in Computer Science, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related fields is preferred.
• Proficiency in SAS programming is highly preferred.
• Strong SQL skills are essential.
• Familiarity with R or Python is a plus.
• Knowledge of Gitlab/Github and SQL is advantageous.

Preferred Qualities:

• Understanding of statistical and epidemiological methods (propensity score methods, survival analysis) is desirable.
• Experience with data manipulation, analysis, and reporting in the biomedical or observational research sphere is sought after.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records databases like CPRD or insurance databases such as Marketscan is a strong asset.
• Ability to create innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
