Job Description

Overview / About us:
We're on a mission to supercharge social and influence.
At Stripe, we create content that stops thumbs mid-scroll and gets seen by millions. Our integrated teams bring together social, influencer, and PR magic for some of the UK's biggest brands -- think Merlin Entertainments, Tefal, ScottishPower, Suntory, Uniqlo, Scottish Rugby and many more.
We're building the team to take social to the next level -- and we're looking for an experienced, ideas-driven Social Account Director to be at the heart of it. Responsibilities / Position overview:
As a senior leader within our Influence & Social team, you'll work closely with our Director of Social & Innovation to craft and deliver standout campaigns. You'll combine creative flair with strategic thinking, leading both organic and paid social activity from concept to completion.
You'll be a trusted voice for clients, a mentor for your team, and a champion for content that makes people stop, watch, click, and share.
What You'll Do

  • Lead influence & social strategy -- develop and evolve campaign plans rooted in insight and creativity.
  • Build influencer relationships -- select the right creators, negotiate fees, and guide content through approvals.
  • Deliver exceptional client service -- manage senior relationships, budgets, and timelines across multiple projects.
  • Inspire and lead teams -- coach junior colleagues and play a senior role in shaping Stripe's social offering.
  • Create engaging content -- from calendars and copy to collaborating with creatives for assets that pop.
  • Present and pitch -- craft clear, impactful decks and lead client presentations with confidence.
  • Track and optimise -- monitor performance, analyse data, and report on results using tools like Google Analytics, Meltwater, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Plan paid social -- set up, manage, and optimise ad campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
