Your responsibilities are grounded in fulfilling the Council's statutory duties, particularly under the Care Act 2014 and related adult social care legislation. These include:
Conducting needs assessments
and developing personalised care and support plans.
Safeguarding adults
by identifying and responding to concerns in line with statutory frameworks.
Promoting independence and wellbeing
through access to appropriate services and community resources.
Ensuring legal compliance
in areas such as mental capacity, deprivation of liberty safeguards, and care planning.
Collaborating with partners
across health, housing, and voluntary sectors to deliver coordinated support.

Normal hours of work are 32 per week based around the usual business working week. Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
