The Social Care Officer plays a vital role in supporting individuals within the community, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence. This position requires a compassionate individual who can effectively support members in all aspects of their daily routines from getting out of bed in the morning to the care they need to get back to bed and everything in between. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those they serve.
Duties
Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support.
Conduct assessments to identify members needs and develop personalised care plans.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client care and programme activities.
Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote social care services and engage potential members.
Requirements
Proficient in record keeping and report writing.
A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to support individuals in need.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
Relevant qualifications or training in social care or a related field are desirable but not essential.
