Care Practitioner (Nights)

Plas Dyffryn Residential Home is a progressive modern thinking family run home that provides Residential and Day Care following the principles of "Home Life", a Code of Practice for Residential Care, "Homes Are For Living".

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced care practitioner to join are dynamic and hard working, friendly team, working night shifts

:

As a care practitioner working nights, you will be required to undertake night duty 1-2 nights a week from the hours of 10pm to 8am at a small 16 bed care home. There is also the option to pick up some days shifts to increase your hours if you so wish.

Key Responsibilities:

Attend to all residents' personal care throughout the night when needed.

Monitor health and wellbeing of all residents.

Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.

Record keeping

Night duties also include an element of cleaning and vegetable preparation as well as laundry duties.

Qualifications:

Level 2/3 (NVQ or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.

Applicants will be required to register with Social Care Wales.

Skills and personal qualities:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassion, patience, and empathy for the elderly.

Salary:

Competitive (reviewed annually and regularly monitored)

Level 3 - 15.30

Level 2 - 14.28 per hr
