We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. Responsibilities

Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans. Provide counselling and support to individuals, families, and groups facing various social issues. Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary resources and services. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress in accordance with organisational policies. Supervise and mentor junior social work staff, providing guidance on best practices and professional development. Facilitate workshops or training sessions aimed at enhancing community awareness and engagement. Stay informed about relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.

Qualifications

A recognised degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification is essential. Registration with the relevant professional body is required. Proven experience in a social work setting is preferred, particularly in areas such as mental health, child protection, or community services. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse client groups. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective advocacy and documentation. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative when required. Experience in supervising or mentoring staff is highly desirable but not mandatory.
