We are recruiting a Casual Social Care Workers at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 0 hours
Contract Type: Casual/Relief
Location: Adult Respite Services- Caerphilly and Blackwood
Team: Adult Services

Respite Services at Montclaire (Blackwood) and Ty-Gwilym (Caerphilly) are seeking casual Social Care Workers.
We provide short-term breaks for individuals with physical and learning disabilities, encouraging choice, community presence, and personal development. You'll help individuals explore new experiences, build social skills, and form friendships in a supportive environment.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • Requirement to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale.
  • An understanding of the principles that underpin a quality care environment ie Privacy, dignity, respect, choice, independence and rights.
  • Experience with people who require support and assistance with all aspects of personal care, daily living and social skills.
  • Ability to work shifts on a rota basis, and work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
