This role consists of shift work and lone working.Work pattern includes day shift, back shift and sleepover. Local Government pension scheme and staff discounts.The PersonThe benchmark qualification for this role includes SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF level 7 or social services children and young people SCQF 7. The successful candidate must: Have Knowledge of National Care Standards. Ability to work in a flexible way. Ability to engage with service users. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Team working skills Moving & Handling training Ability to undertake physical tasks e.g. being able to comfortably kneel on beds and floors and able to rise without difficulty. Ability to travel throughout Fife.Successful candidate must be registered with the SSSC and be a member of the PVG scheme.The successful candidate must have Team working skills, Literacy and IT skills along with effective verbal communication skills.Ability to travel within Fife will often be more appropriate.As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration.If appointed, you must start your application as soon as possible so you're registered within the required six months.
