Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals and families facing various challenges. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to mentor and supervise others, and a commitment to improving the well-being of clients through effective intervention strategies.

Responsibilities



Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop appropriate care plans. Provide counselling and support to individuals and families in crisis situations. Facilitate access to community resources, services, and support networks. Mentor and supervise junior staff or interns, fostering their professional development. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with organisational policies. Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the community and healthcare systems. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional skills.

Qualifications



A recognised degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification. Registration with the relevant professional body is essential. Proven experience in a social work setting is preferred. Strong mentoring and supervising skills are highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients are crucial for success in this role. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: 25.90-41.21 per hour
