Social Commerce Manager

Location: Manchester, 7-9 Sunbank Lane, Altrincham, WA15 0AF

Myprotein is looking for a Social Commerce Manager to join our team in this new and growing area. In this role, you will be responsible for running, managing, growing, and maintaining our social media stores with a focus on TikTok, driving revenue through both livestreams and shoppable short videos. You will also be responsible for monitoring developments on other social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram to identify opportunities to ensure Myprotein is at the forefront of social commerce developments going forward.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and execute social commerce strategies that align with our brand\'s goals and values
• Run and manage our social media stores on TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram
• Work closely with the Social Media Managers and Social Media Strategy & Insights Manager across brands, to improve the performance of posts and make content more disruptive
• Drive revenue through livestreams and short video tags on TikTok
• Monitor developments on other social media channels to identify opportunities to grow our social commerce business
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between social media and e-commerce operations
• Manage relationships with social media platforms and partners to ensure optimal performance and ROI
• Keep up to date with the latest social commerce trends, monitoring industry developments and forecasts, and understanding user behaviours to ensure that Myprotein is at the forefront of social commerce innovation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Proven work experience in social commerce and management
• Knowledge of social media platforms such as TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram
• Strong understanding of social commerce trends and best practices
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Passion for health, fitness, and nutrition is a plus.
