Ideal Direct Ltd is a fast-growing, 8 figure e-commerce portfolio operating across multiple consumer brands. We are looking to rapidly scale our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brand ecosystem. Our brands span luxury jewellery, premium homeware, and female wellness. Each has a distinct identity, audience, and tone of voice, and social media plays a critical role in their growth.
The Role
We are looking for a Social Content Creator who is truly mobile-first and deeply understands short-form video. This role is hands-on and creative. It is not a desk-based social media management position. You will be responsible for keeping the social media presence of three brands fresh, consistent, and engaging through regular filming, editing, posting, and community interaction. You will work closely with our Brand Aesthetics & Creative Lead and Digital Marketing Manager to ensure content aligns with brand direction while driving organic growth and engagement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being behind (and occasionally in front of) the camera, understands platform trends, and can manage their own time, workload, and content calendar effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Shorts.
Film primarily on iPhone and edit using CapCut Pro or native in-app tools Lead and participate in weekly Tuesday Shoot Days, capturing behind-thescenes, lifestyle, trend-based, and reactive content alongside wider creative production.
Confidently appear on camera when required for unboxings, product demos, trend-led videos, and community-style content.
Spot and adapt trends, sounds, and formats early, tailoring them appropriately for each brand
Maintain strong pacing, hooks, and platform-native editing styles
Social Media Management (Approx. 20%)
Manage posting schedules across Instagram and TikTok for all three brands.
Maintain a clear and organised content calendar, managing your own workload and deadlines.
Ensure all content remains on brand in tone, visuals, and messaging.
Post daily Instagram Stories to engage audiences through polls, Q&As, reposted UGC, and behind-the-scenes content.
Actively engage with the community by responding to comments and DMs in a brand-appropriate voice
Influencer and UGC Support (Approx. 10%)
Identify and engage micro-influencers and creators aligned with each brand.
Manage product seeding logistics and follow-ups.
Collect, organise, and store UGC assets for future organic and paid use.
About You
You have a strong portfolio, either from previous roles or personal social channels, demonstrating growth, engagement, and platform understanding.
You are confident using CapCut Pro and editing fast-paced, engaging vertical video.
You understand Facebook, TikTok and Instagram deeply, including hooks, SEO, and evolving algorithms.
You are organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple brands without losing clarity or consistency.
You are collaborative and enjoy working closely with creative and marketing teams.
You are comfortable being on camera when required.
You can manage your own time effectively and work independently.
Requirements
1-2+ years of experience in social content creation (personal platforms accepted if performance is strong).
Proven experience creating short-form video for TikTok and Instagram.
Strong understanding of brand tone, aesthetics, and audience engagement.
UK-based and able to attend weekly in-office shoot days in Strood, Rochester.
Comfortable working across multiple brands and adapting style accordingly
