Social Emotional Mental Health TA

Full-time Contracted Position for the Academic Year 2025/2026

Salary FTE: 22,100 - 24,700

Salary Term Time Equivalent: 16,575 - 18,525 + yearly bonus

SEMH/SEN/PRU experience required

Primary School based in Highbury Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:20 am till 3:30 pm - September 2025 Start This primary school holds a successful conversion rate of graduates to future Psychologists (e.g. Clinical, Educational, etc) 1:1 &/or group support of students with social, emotional & behavioural needs (e.g. ADHD, ASD, eating disorders, learning difficulties, trauma backgrounds, etc) Supporting students with their development as well as fine motor skills Liaising with Educational Psychologists, SENCOs, Therapists & SLTs CPD training is regularly provided

The Ideal Candidate: Social Emotional Development Teaching Assistant

Academic Individual - Psychology-related undergraduate degree or master's degree (ideal but not essential)*
Holds prior experience working with students or vulnerable individuals (SEN/SEMH) or in a PRU setting (required - exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis)*
Empathetic & ambitious individual with a willingness to learn Skills required - Communication, critical thinking, attention to detail, active listening
