The Role

We are recruiting an experienced

Surveyor

to join our expanding team. The role will involve carrying out detailed property inspections, preparing schedules of work, providing accurate costings, and supporting contract delivery across a wide variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake detailed surveys of occupied and void properties. Prepare accurate specifications, schedules of work, and cost estimates. Provide valuations in line with contract requirements. Monitor works on-site to ensure compliance with specifications and KPIs. Identify building defects, risks, and remedial actions. Produce clear technical reports and maintain records on SharePoint. Work closely with contract managers, operatives, and clients. Act as a key contact for tenants and stakeholders on technical matters.

About You

Proven experience working in social housing is essential.

Previous experience in surveying within housing, maintenance, or construction. Knowledge of building pathology, damp & mould, and planned maintenance. Strong technical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. IT literate with experience of reporting and job management systems. Full UK driving licence (essential).

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 30,000.00-34,000.00 per year
