Social Media & Advertising Intern

to join our creative team!

What You'll Do:



Promote and manage Facebook & Instagram accounts, Google ads, business pages, and blogs. Create, edit, and post engaging video and visual content across platforms. Align social media strategies with website design to drive traffic and boost conversions. Upload media assets and support content scheduling. Work closely with branding and marketing teams to maintain consistent messaging and visuals.

What We're Looking For:



2-3 days a week, 9-5pm in person (in the office with the director) A keen interest in social media marketing and digital advertising. Creativity and enthusiasm for content creation and storytelling. Basic knowledge of social media platforms, ad tools, or website integration is a plus. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Overview

Responsibilities



Assist in the development and implementation of social media campaigns across various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Create engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience. Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and engagement opportunities. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all platforms. Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform content strategy. Help manage the scheduling of posts and track performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns. Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases, blog posts, and other communications as needed.

Qualifications



Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Experience or coursework in public relations or social media management is preferred but not essential. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics software is advantageous. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
