About Us
LingoClass, based in London, is a language school specialising in Asian language and culture education for adults, offering courses in Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Japanese, and Korean. We don't just teach languages, we also value cultural experience and exchange as part of the learning journey.
Our campus is conveniently located near Holborn (Zone 1, Central London). Currently, 90% of our classes are in-person and 10% online. We run around 30 group classes (corporate and public) and 40+ one-to-one lessons each week, with nearly 200 students from around the world.
As our school continues to grow, we are looking for a Social Media and Academic Support Coordinator to join our friendly, creative, and professional team. This role will help us expand our brand presence, manage our online content, and support cultural and academic activities within the school.

Position Title: Social Media and Academic Support Coordinator
Location: LingoClass Office, Holborn (Zone 1, Central London)
Schedule: 5 days per week, 4 hours per day (Monday-Saturday shifts)
Mon-Fri: 4-hour shifts between 3:00-9:00 PM
Sat: 4-hour shifts between 1:00-6:00 PM
Working hours may increase based on performance
Pay details will be discussed during the interview
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media & Marketing Management
Manage and update social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Google My Business, Reddit, and Xiaohongshu (RED)
Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos (e.g. class highlights, event recaps, promotional reels etc.)
Manage and respond to comments and reviews to maintain a positive, professional brand image
2. Academic & Administrative Support
Provide administrative support to the Course Coordinator
Assist with class attendance, student communication, and in-class photo and video documentation
Help prepare, organise, and manage teaching materials
3. Event Planning & Execution
Plan and execute cultural and school events, such as seasonal celebrations, student gatherings, teacher meetings, and team-building activities
Manage Eventbrite and website event pages (set up events, track registrations, manage attendees)
Support course level progressions (e.g. prepare certificates, small gifts, photos, and communications)
Conduct and summarise the biannual course satisfaction survey for quality improvement
4. Team & Brand Collaboration
Collaborate regularly with teaching, academic, and administrative teams to ensure consistent communication and branding
Support internal meetings and team-building activities
We are Looking for Someone Who...
Is passionate about language education, academic operations, social media, and event planning
Has experience in video content creation and editing (preferred)
Is fluent in English (IELTS 6.5+ or equivalent), able to communicate confidently with international students and staff
Is familiar with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Canva, Eventbrite, Xiaohongshu, and Google My Business
Has experience in event coordination or social media marketing (preferred)
Is proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong team player who can also work independently
Holds a valid UK work visa (minimum 1 year validity) and is able to work on-site in London
