Are you a creative person with a passion for social media, then come and join our social media team! This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in social media and digital content creation whilst working in the UK's largest automotive care business. You will be responsible for producing engaging and informative multimedia content for a variety of brands within Automotive, Home & DIY across a variety of social platforms. As part of the team, you will report to the digital marketing manager and be tasked with creating, editing and scheduling various types of content such as videos, social media posts and design marketing materials to showcase the wide range of products within our brands. You will help grow our individual social media accounts and drive the delivery of key messaging to our target audience.
This role is designed to give hands-on experience in managing social media channels at a brand level, understanding audience insights, and refining content strategies that deliver results whilst elevating and communicating brand messages. You will gain practical skills in content planning, trend spotting, short-form video creation and performance tracking -- all while helping brands build a consistent and compelling digital presence. This apprenticeship role will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in digital content and social media. Afterwards, we'll support you to take the next steps, including further training and a full-time role within the business.
You will be enrolled on a fully funded Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship Course to achieve a formal qualification. Full support and training will be given.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and publish engaging content for various social media platforms across a variety of accounts.
Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Collaborate with other teams such as marketing and design to create content that aligns with the company's goals and brand identity.
Develop and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure consistent content production and timely delivery.
Optimize content for search engines and social media platforms to increase visibility and reach.
Analyse content performance metrics such as views, engagement, and click through rates to inform future content strategies.
Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and match the brand voice.
Essential
Knowledge and use of social platforms including: Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and Youtube
Proficiency in an image editing and video editing software such as the Adobe suite, Canva, etc
Strong copywriting skills
Organisational and time management skills
Confident in working in a fast paced and fluid environment
Creativity and a 'think outside the box' mentality
