About the Role:

We are looking for a creative, proactive, and enthusiastic

Social Media Assistant

to join our team at Piping Rock UK. In this role, you will support the Graphic Designer & Social Media Executive in producing engaging, on-brand video content across multiple brands, primarily for TikTok.

You will play a key part in filming & editing video content, trend-spotting, and helping to bring fresh and innovative ideas to life.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to grow their skills in digital content creation.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Tasks:

Video Filming & Editing

: (required skill) Film & edit content videos using editing software. Support filming product-focused content, short-form videos, and viral trends.

Content Creation

:

Help brainstorm creative ideas and identify emerging TikTok trends. Create

product hero images

. [Photoshop] Create

promotional images

for TikTok Affiliate partners [Photoshop & Illustrator]. Take and edit

product photography

for Instagram.

Other Tasks:

Content Scheduling & Posting

: Assist with posting content on TikTok & Instagram in line with the content calendar.

Collaboration & Logistics

:

Request and coordinate sample stock for upcoming content. Work with the Graphic Designer & Social Media Executive and wider marketing & design team to ensure cohesive branding.

Skills & Experience Required

Technical Skills

:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro & After Effects). Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially TikTok.

Creative Skills

:

Strong videography skills. Ability to generate new content ideas, aligned with trends and brand identity.

Other Attributes

:

Experience in a similar role and/or relevant qualification. Familiar with TikTok and actively keeps up with the latest trends. Confident and comfortable appearing on camera. (desired but not essential) Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent time management skills. Passion for health, wellness, and lifestyle content.
