About the Role


We are seeking a creative, reliable, and proactive

Social Media Assistant

to support our digital presence across multiple brands and projects. This is a flexible freelance opportunity designed for someone with strong content creation skills who enjoys working independently while being part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities



Create original written and visual content tailored to brand tone and aesthetic Use

Canva (required)

to design posts, reels, and stories for social media Schedule and publish content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) Engage with online communities: respond to comments/messages in a professional manner Research trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to suggest new ideas Support campaigns, launches, and events with creative content Collaborate with the team during brainstorming sessions (virtually or in-person if required)

Requirements



Proven experience in social media management

(freelance, employment, or projects)

Proficiency in Canva

(this will be tested as part of the application process) Strong understanding of content creation, scheduling, and engagement strategies Creative mindset with attention to detail and consistency Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong written communication skills in English

Desirable Skills



Experience with Meta Business Suite, Later, or Buffer Basic video editing (e.g., CapCut, Final Cut Pro X, or similar) Interest in wellness, lifestyle, finance, or community-led projects

Responsibilities



Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to align with business goals. Create engaging content tailored for different social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Monitor and respond to comments and messages across all social media channels in a timely manner. Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency in messaging and visuals. Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in social media management and public relations. Assist in the development of promotional campaigns and initiatives that enhance audience engagement.
