We are seeking a creative, reliable, and proactive
Social Media Assistant
to support our digital presence across multiple brands and projects. This is a flexible freelance opportunity designed for someone with strong content creation skills who enjoys working independently while being part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
Create original written and visual content tailored to brand tone and aesthetic
Use
Canva (required)
to design posts, reels, and stories for social media
Schedule and publish content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
Engage with online communities: respond to comments/messages in a professional manner
Research trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to suggest new ideas
Support campaigns, launches, and events with creative content
Collaborate with the team during brainstorming sessions (virtually or in-person if required)
Requirements
Proven experience in social media management
(freelance, employment, or projects)
Proficiency in Canva
(this will be tested as part of the application process)
Strong understanding of content creation, scheduling, and engagement strategies
Creative mindset with attention to detail and consistency
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong written communication skills in English
Desirable Skills
Experience with Meta Business Suite, Later, or Buffer
Basic video editing (e.g., CapCut, Final Cut Pro X, or similar)
Interest in wellness, lifestyle, finance, or community-led projects
