Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Plan, schedule, and publish social media posts across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn in alignment with the content and campaign strategy.

Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions, responding promptly and with empathy while directing customer or seller queries to the right support channel.

Engage and build community, identify and nurture relationships with advocates, creators, and potential charity partners.

Track social performance and report engagement insights to inform scheduling decisions and creative direction.

Stay on top of trends and cultural moments to identify organic growth opportunities that align with our message of "shopping for good."

Benchmark competitors and similar mission-led brands, identifying best practices and creative ideas that can inspire new approaches.

Represent the BuyToGive brand voice, warm, positive, authentic, and purpose-driven -- in every interaction.

Collaborate across the team, ensuring that social posts align with marketing campaigns, charity spotlights, and platform updates.

Create engaging, on-brand visual and video content that reflects our message of shopping for good -- using tools like Canva, CapCut, Edits (or similar).

About You

A creative thinker who can turn ideas, photos, and b-roll content into scroll-stopping posts.

Comfortable working with a blank canvas, building processes and systems as you go.

Passionate about social media and understand what makes content connect.

Confident communicating online, warm, professional, and human in tone.

Proactive in spotting opportunities, whether that's a trend, a new collab, or a better way to post.

Requirements



Familiarity managing or scheduling social media for a brand, agency, or cause-driven project.

Proficiency with scheduling tools

Understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and engagement strategies.

Excellent written English and attention to detail and able to work within the GMT timezone

Familiarity with eCommerce, charity, or purpose-driven brands a plus.

Confident using Canva (or equivalent) for content creation; video editing experience in CapCut, Edits, or similar.

Pay: 20,000.00-24,000.00 per year
