Social Media & Community Manager

About the Role
As the Social Media & Community Manager, you'll own Jewells' social presence end-to- end - leading strategy, execution, and optimisation across all platforms. You'll drive engagement and growth through sharp strategy, creative storytelling, and a data-driven approach - while managing and developing a high-performing team.
This role involves leading the influencer & brand partnerships exec and in-house content creator(s) to deliver standout campaigns that align with business goals, build brand awareness, and foster genuine connections with our audience. You'll also play a key role in amplifying organic reach through social SEO and trend-led creativity.
What You'll Do
Social Media Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
Create platform-specific content strategies that balance brand consistency with creativity and innovation.
Align social media eQorts with business goals, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
Experiment with new formats, trends, and storytelling techniques to keep Jewells at the forefront of social innovation.
Team Leadership & Content Creation
Manage, mentor, and inspire a team including the influencer & brand partnerships exec, social media exec(s), and in-house content creator(s).
Lead performance reviews, training, and development to ensure the team delivers consistently high-quality work.
Manage the content calendar and team workflow, ensuring a consistent posting schedule that maximises reach and engagement.
Collaborate with influencers, photographers, and videographers to produce compelling content.
Community Engagement
Build and nurture an engaged community across platforms by fostering genuine interactions and responding to comments, messages, and trends.
Be the voice of Jewells, ensuring all communication reflects our brand values and tone of voice.
Leverage user-generated content and community feedback to evolve social strategies.
Data-Driven Optimisation
Use analytics tools to measure campaign, content, and engagement performance.
Provide regular reports and actionable insights to refine strategy.
Stay ahead of platform updates, trends, and SEO best practices to drive organic
growth.
About You
Experience:
3+ years in social media management, ideally within fashion,
jewellery, or lifestyle brands.
Leadership:
Proven experience managing and mentoring a team (social media execs, influencer execs, content creators) with clear examples of developing talent and delivering results.
Creative Vision:
A natural storyteller with an eye for design and a pulse on social trends.
Strategic Thinking:
Track record of delivering successful social strategies that drove growth and engagement.
SEO Savvy:
Strong understanding of social SEO and discoverability techniques.
Data-Driven:
Comfortable using analytics to optimise content and report
results.
Platform Expertise:
Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
