Overview

Exel CNC is growing, and we are looking for a creative, energetic, and results-driven Social Media & Content Creator to help elevate our brand across digital platforms. If you love turning ideas into engaging content and you are excited by the world of engineering, manufacturing, and CNC machinery this role is for you. The position is for 4 days per week/32 hours. This can be a mixture of working from our showroom, working offsite with customers or working from home/our office. Typically this is Mon-Thursday but we are flexible on days/hours for the right person.

Responsibilities

Develop compelling written content for websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, and marketing materials. Develop, manage, and grow Exel CNC's presence across social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube). Create high-quality content including photos, videos, reels, behind-the-scenes shots, customer case studies, and product highlights. Work closely with engineers to showcase CNC builds, installs, capabilities, and innovations. Plan and execute monthly content calendars. Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and build an active community. Track performance metrics and recommend improvements to boost reach and impact.

Skills

Experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing. Strong photography and video abilities (smartphone or camera). Confidence in editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar. A creative thinker with an eye for visual storytelling. Interest in CNC machines, engineering, or manufacturing (experience in the industry is a bonus but not required). Ability to work independently and bring fresh ideas to the table. Knowledge of current trends in digital marketing and content optimisation techniques is advantageous.
