RF Media & Publishing Ltd, are the North's leading print and digital media outlet, printing the Asian Standard Newspaper and Asian Sunday & Style Magazine

We're now looking for a

creative, hands-on Content Creator

to join our growing team someone who can bring stories to life across digital platforms, stay ahead of social trends and produce standout visual content for both our news platforms and clients.

We are looking for 2 candidates for this position, one ideally based in West Yorkshire and the other based in London.

Key Responsibilities

Create engaging short-form video and photo content

for social media using DSLR cameras, mobile phones, microphones and other equipment.

Edit and produce high-quality visual content

using tools such as Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop or similar creative software.

Develop creative concepts

based on briefs for both internal and client-led campaigns.

Stay on top of trends

and react quickly with timely, topical social content.

Manage posting and scheduling

across multiple social platforms - including YouTube Shorts, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and X (Twitter).

Confidently appear on camera

for explainer videos, interviews or news updates when required.

Collaborate closely

with editors, journalists and marketing teams to ensure all content aligns with brand tone and campaign objectives.

Travel across regions

to capture stories, cover events or film client features when needed.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience creating and editing social media content (video and static). Excellent knowledge of major social media platforms and current content trends. Strong technical ability with camera equipment, lighting, and audio tools. Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects desirable) or equivalent editing tools. Strong storytelling skills with an eye for detail and design. Ability to work under pressure and turn content around quickly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A self-starter with creativity, curiosity, and confidence to bring fresh ideas. Willingness to travel and occasionally work flexible hours.

Desirable but not essential

Experience working in a newsroom, media agency or with community-focused content. Multilingual skills (particularly South Asian languages) are an advantage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 18,315.00-21,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 per week

Work Location: In person
