Social Media Content Creator & Designer (Self-Employed, Part-Time / Ad-Hoc)

Brown's Natural Pet Store is looking for a self-employed creative who cares about quality, storytelling and capturing real moments from everyday life in our stores.

This role is about showing what we do with honesty, warmth and attention to detail. You will spend time in our stores filming and photographing, then turn that content into thoughtful posts, videos and graphics that feel consistent with our brand.

We are not looking for someone to just post trends and produce generic social media. We are looking for someone who understands brand, cares about craft, and wants to help us tell meaningful stories about pets, people and wellbeing.

What you will be doing

Visiting our stores to capture natural, real content Filming short form video for reels and TikTok Taking product, lifestyle and behind-the-scenes photos Editing video and photos to a high standard Designing graphics, simple infographics and campaign visuals Creating social posts that feel on-brand and considered Uploading content and writing captions Tracking basic performance and learning what works Working with us to plan content around key campaigns and seasons
This role is collaborative. We will share ideas, direction and priorities, but you will lead the creative execution.

This role is self-employed

You will invoice for your work Work will vary month to month depending on campaigns Projects may include launches, events, seasonal themes, educational content and new product brand design & packaging
This is ideal for someone who already freelances and wants a consistent ongoing client.

You must be

Local to Worthing Able to show proven experience Comfortable filming in our stores Friendly, approachable and respectful when capturing content Reliable, organised and able to manage deadlines
Skills we would love you to have

Strong photo and video skills, including editing Good working knowledge of Adobe or similar tools Ability to design social graphics and infographics Experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube Confidence writing captions and thinking about messaging Understanding of analytics and content performance Bonus: experience working with brands or retailers
