Job Description

As the social media manager/video editor, you are the face and force behind our social media personas -- representing a large part of our overall marketing efforts. You'll sit at the intersection of idea creation, content generation, and video editing, helping us to represent our digital personas across social media outlets and supporting the success of our rapidly growing social media team.

This isn't just Canva graphics or content calendars. This is viral social media content creation at the highest level.

In this role, you'll take charge of learning our approach to creating viral videos for social media and implementing it daily to curate unique, engaging content for our target audiences. Your day-to-day will involve creative brainstorming, short-form video editing, and analyzing post performance to ensure consistent growth amongst our social media accounts. This is more than just posting any ol' content daily; it's about mastering the success factors of content creation. You'll be empowered to leverage your skills and creativity to showcase our unique value and drive growth. Responsibilities:

Consuming, note taking, and re-watching

the training modules we provide to you. It will contain everything you need to succeed in this position. Note: It's a lot of information,

reviewing it one time through will not be sufficient.

Ideate, create, and re-create ideas daily

based on competitor research and observing internal successful content on our own pages. Learn how to

generate content using AI tools

to make your ideas come to life.

Edit short-form video content

in CapCut with the techniques you learn in our training modules. Post content on social media accounts

daily

for accounts you are assigned.

Understand and apply

regular feedback from our content managers.

Handle content requests

from our content managers to improve our post performances.

Requirements:

A chronic social media addict with

deep interest

in content creation. Strong

written and verbal English

who can convey ideas in concise ways to target English-speaking audiences. Great

eye for aesthetics

-- you know what looks good and what people find visually appealing. Viral-oriented thinker who can observe content and

understand the factors

that led to successful post performance. Great

understanding

of Gen-Z humor and overall American pop-culture. Confident in

working under pressure, managing time, and holding yourself accountable ruthlessly.

Compensation:

$4000 USD starting monthly salary This position has no salary ceiling. You have the opportunity to earn more through consistent high performance, reliability, and demonstration of quality work. We have several current team members who have worked their way up to a $6000+ USD/month salary within 9 months and still growing.
