Social Media & Content Creator
to help elevate our online presence, tell our story, and showcase the quality of our work.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for creating, managing, and growing JMW's digital footprint across social media platforms. This includes producing engaging photo and video content from our live projects, highlighting our craftsmanship, and maintaining a consistent brand tone and aesthetic. You'll work closely with the company owner and site teams to capture real-time progress, client testimonials, and before-and-after transformations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, create, and schedule high-quality content (photos, videos, reels, stories, blog posts, etc.) across all social media channels -- including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Visit live project sites weekly to capture progress, behind-the-scenes content, and team activity.
Write engaging captions and project descriptions that reflect JMW's professional yet personable tone.
Manage and grow social media engagement through regular posting, interaction, and use of trending formats.
Design and maintain branded templates for posts, stories, and highlight covers.
Collaborate with the director and office team on marketing campaigns, brochures, and website updates.
Analyse performance data to refine strategy and boost engagement and reach.
Keep up to date with industry trends, hashtags, and social media best practices.
Manage the content calendar to ensure consistent and strategic posting.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in social media management, videography, photography, or content creation (ideally within construction, property, or lifestyle sectors).
Strong visual eye and storytelling ability.
Skilled in photo and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Lightroom, Canva).
Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Confident visiting live construction sites and working alongside tradespeople.
Knowledge of social media algorithms, analytics, and growth strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing business social media accounts.
Familiarity with SEO, hashtags, and paid social campaigns.
Driving licence (as site visits will be required).
