We are currently looking to recruit a Social Media & Content Executive to be based at our Stockport Offices.

Hours 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am - 4pm Fridays

As Social Media & Content Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media content strategy to boost engagement, grow our follower bases, and enhance brand awareness. This role combines creativity with technical skills in videography, content editing, and strategic thinking to maximise our social media impact. Working as part of the Marketing Team, you will create content that resonates with our audience, aligns with our brand identity, and achieves our social media goals.

You will ensure that the social media channels for Alan Howard and the exclusive brands have regular, high quality and creative content output in line with brand guidelines and tone of voice. You will be responsible for coordinating the social media schedule through an up-to-date content calendar, working with the wider marketing team to help deliver key messages and support on marketing campaigns and activity.

You will keep up to date with internal and external brand updates and launches; industry trends and developments in social media, such as advertising guidelines, new platforms and new features introduced.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive to develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy aligned with the objectives of Alan Howard and our exclusive brands. Work with the wider marketing team to ensure content consistency and integrate social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives to convey the brand messages effectively. Create high-quality, engaging content, including images, videos, and graphics for social media that features Alan Howard and our brands proportionately to their position within the company strategy Capture content at brand events and activations to showcase the brand to a high standard, driving reach and brand awareness Coordinate brand artist and influencer content schedules to maintain the reputation of the brand and tone of voice Monitor social media trends and leverage insights to propose innovative content ideas that drive engagement and growth. Analyse and report on social media performance weekly, using data to refine and optimise future content strategies and campaigns. Engage with our community across social platforms, responding to comments and messages to foster a positive community and build relationships with our audience.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Social Media Content Creation and Management Strong understanding of social media platforms, their best practices, features, and algorithms. Proficiency in social media management software (preferably Hubspot) and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut Pro) Excellent storytelling, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt voice and tone across different platforms. Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate them into effective social media content. Strategic mindset, with experience in social media analytics and the ability to use data to inform content decisions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
