Social Media & Content Specialist

Melton Mowbray, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Social Media & Content Specialist

Hybrid/Remote | Part-Time | Melton Mowbray

15-22 p/h (dependent on experience)

Hello there!

We're Vint Street - a fast-growing crew on a mission to give iconic brands and forgotten gems a

second life. Based in Leicestershire, right at the heart of the country, we re-love and re-sell

incredible vintage finds, keeping quality pieces out of landfill and in the hands of people who'll

treasure them.

Now, we're looking for a creative, data-savvy Social Media & Content Specialist to help us grow

our online presence, shape our visual identity, and engage the like-minded audiences who care

about style with substance.

Don't worry if words aren't your strong suit or you're not a pro with a camera, we've got that

covered. What we really need is someone who knows their way around content platforms, can

edit together posts and videos with graphic flair, and has the instincts (and data skills) to figure

out what actually works.

What you'll do:

Plan and create standout content - graphics, Reels, Stories, product promos - for

Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), Whatnot, and others.

Use Canva, Adobe, or similar to design eye-catching posts that match our tone, vibe, and

values.

Track performance, spot trends, and interpret data to refine and improve what we do.

Collaborate with the Head of Comms to deliver creative campaigns and test new ideas.

Optimise posts for reach and visibility (including light-touch SEO for blog content and

social).

Engage with our community through comments, messages, and general good vibes.

Occasionally support wider creative work - like product launches, homepage design, or

eCom updates.

What we're looking for:

Experience managing brand or business content across social platforms.

Confidence using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar to produce visuals that pop.

Familiarity with Meta Business Suite or similar scheduling/analytics tools.

A solid grasp of SEO principles and content optimisation.

A data-led mindset: you know what metrics matter and how to use them.

Awareness of social trends - and when to jump in or steer clear.

Self-sufficiency, clear communication, and a willingness to get stuck in.

Someone who loves a challenge and isn't afraid to experiment.

Nice to have (but not essential):

Experience working with e-commerce or product-based brands.

An eye for branding consistency and a feel for tone of voice.

Why join Vint Street?

We're building something with purpose and having a lot of fun doing it.

You'll have real creative freedom and a say in shaping our content strategy.

We keep things flexible and values-led.

You'll be part of a growing brand at a really exciting time - and have access to some

seriously cool vintage pieces, too.

Does that sound like a bit of you? Well then, apply:

Send your CV, a short cover letter explaining why you're a great fit for the role and the team,

and examples of your previous work to amy@vintstreet.com
